Jackson Weaver, Archeologist
« on: March 11, 2015, 11:57:08 AM »
Played By: Greenhorn (RNPC)

Full Name: Jackson Weaver

Birthdate: November 29 2364 (29)

Title or Position: Historian/Scholar/Archeologist

Height: 5’10”

Appearance: Medium build with chiseled abs. He is strong as he is athletic with a body built for a soldier or someone with survival skills.

Personality: He is a bit geeky in his own way. Smart with almost everything in the area of archeology among other outdoor sciences. He may be built like a soldier like his father, but he does not have a personality of one. He is easy going and casual.

Field Experience: He has the survival skills of many instructors combined. Not only did he learn ancient artifacts, he learned to live among the dangerous predators with only a few basic things that he required to live on. Water and fire. He was born and bred to be a soldier, so he gets his survival instincts from his father. He also has Zero G experience in order to walk in zero atmosphere environments like on the moon.
Personal History: Born into a royal British military family, Jackson was thrust by his father into a military school at a young age. It was technically a boot camp for boys. Girls had their own separate schools. It was a military decree and required for anyone who needs discipline and strict order to maintain themselves to avoid unwanted temptations. It wasn’t hardcore nor wasn’t too strict. Jackson spent his childhood years growing up being taught in school for eight years before he decided that it was too much for him. He wanted his own thing, so he rebelled against his father.

That created a rift between him and his only son. With disappointment, his father disavowed Jackson and Jackson ran away to his mother’s side of the family. His mother was sad and concerned, but there wasn’t anything she could do about it. She loved her husband too much to not get mad at him. He does what he wants to do after all.

Still, even after running away from his father, Jackson still kept his military training. For that reason alone, he is stronger. He took to self-instruction at the young age of 11 a month after running away from his father. Starfleet offered all the things that he required in order to begin teaching himself and quickly with his eidetic memory. Eventually by the age of 15, he grew an interested in the area of Archeology and History. He continued learning and soon was able to get into a good college to get his degree. Soon he became well known and it reached his father who eventually changed his heart and mind to the man his son became today. Eventually their relationship was repaired.

Jackson remained a civilian and travelled among different ships on various of expeditions to different worlds like Tau Ceti II and Trill among other worlds with the ancient history and artifacts found on these worlds. His last posting was on the USS Nexus when he was traveling to Bajor to live there and backpack across the wilds of Bajor for several years.

However, when the wormhole hit the Nexus and pulled her through to the Gamma Quadrant, Jackson realized that his journey was just beginning to unfold.
